This theme aims to encourage the convergence of different design disciplines to create innovative solutions that address societal challenges and promote sustainability.
Through CONVERGE: Championing Purposeful Design, AYDA seeks to ignite dialogue and collaboration among diverse design disciplines, including architecture, and interior design. By breaking down the silos and encouraging interdisciplinary approaches, AYDA aims to foster an environment where innovative ideas thrive and transformative designs emerge.
With an unwavering commitment to recognizing exceptional talent and fostering innovation in the field of design, AYDA continues to provide a platform for young designers across Asia to showcase their creative prowess.
The chosen theme aligns with the pressing need for purpose-driven design solutions in today's world. Asia Young Designer Awards (AYDA) - CONVERGE: Championing Purposeful Design has opened for designs submission from 17-05-23. Design enthusiasts currently pursuing their education in design-related fields are invited to submit their projects and be a part of this prestigious competition. The submission deadline is 6 October 2023, and participants are encouraged to review the guidelines and eligibility criteria available on the official AYDA website.

AYDA Awards 2023 provides an opportunity for designers to showcase their work in a wide range of categories tailored to their expertise.

Below is a basic overview of the submission criteria.
Name and Theme Concept: Each project must include a project title and a theme/concept.
Design Concept: The design statement should not exceed 800 words and must be submitted in PDF format.
Presentation Boards: Guidelines on how to present the project on a board (A2 size) will be provided.
Labeling the Presentation Boards: All areas on the floor plan must be labeled clearly.
Perspective Images: Individual perspective images of the project must be at least A4 size.
Photographs: Participants are required to upload a recent high-resolution personal photo of themselves.
Colors: Participants are encouraged to use colors exclusively from Nippon Paint's range, if applicable.
Submission Process:
All entries must be submitted by October 6th, 2023.
