Nielsen Norman Group Search for World's 10 Best Intranets
The Nielsen Norman Group's Intranet Design Annual is a competition to identify the 10 best intranets from around the globe.

The Office of Advancement at Queen's University entered the contest with their Intranet Connections social intranet "QUIRC". The intranet supports approximately 200 users both internally and externally who are located in various locations on campus and in their Calgary satellite office. Many staff access the QUIRC intranet through mobile and tablets while travelling on business. QUIRC is their gateway to key applications, workflow, documents and social collaboration with the goal of generating a culture of learning and growth.
