About Nick Colic
Nick Colic counsels clients in various industries on patent law in the mechanical and electrical technologies, including prosecution of patent applications before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, management of international patent portfolios, freedom-to-operate investigations, and infringement and validity opinions. He litigates patent infringement cases in various federal trial courts and before the International Trade Commission. He has also represented both petitioners and patent owners in administrative proceedings before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board, as well as appeals of those proceedings to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
Prior to his law career, Nick worked as a mechanical engineer assisting in the design of transmission control units in the automotive group of Motorola Inc.
