  • (1888PressRelease) October 31, 2011 - Myrtle Beach, SC based Nexus Fuel Products, Inc. has been field testing its line of fuel catalysts in a variety of applications over the past two years with very positive results. The company has developed products for trucking, passenger cars, marine, and high performance applications that have proven effective in a variety of applications.

Perhaps the most impressive and promising results have come from testing its Complete Diesel product with over-the-road and local transit trucking firms in the United States and Brazil. The company reports results ranging from 12% to 20% increases in fuel economy in every field test thus far. "We wanted to get real-life results with our products", said Nexus CEO, Sam Bamrick. "We've chosen to provide to products to a variety of firms capable of tracking before-and-after results. We expected the results to vary and have been pleased with the outcome. In addition to increased mileage, some of our tests have recorded significant decreases in emissions using our product."

In addition to Nexus Marine for boating applications, the company offers their Formula 7 product for passenger cars and XtremeHP for high performance applications. "We have a number of consumers using the Formula 7 catalyst who are all reporting significant gains in fuel economy", said Jeff Gilder, the company's head of Motorsports Marketing. "One of the most exciting products in the Nexus line, to me, is XtremeHP. We have completed several dynamometer tests from a variety of independent engine builders. While the results vary from engine to engine the average gains range between 15 and 22 horsepower with increases in torque in the 10 to 15 pound-foot range. This is especially interesting considering the product is mixed at a ratio of one ounce per ten gallons in all applications."
