Newport Dunes to Launch Nighttime "Radiant" Paddleboard Rides

(1888PressRelease) July 17, 2016 - Newport Dunes Waterfront Resort has launched Moe B's Radiant Rides, nighttime adventures held on select Fridays and Saturdays during the summer. Standup paddleboards (SUP) and kayaks are adorned with LED lights bringing a whole new dimension to these sporting activities. To make things more fun, Newport Dunes is periodically organizing scavenger hunts, announced Andrew Theodorou, vice president and general manager of the 100-acre resort. Cost is $30 per person and includes a glow accessory. For safety, lighted life vests are furnished.

In addition, the resort's in-house recreational rentals company, Pirate Coast Paddle, coordinates 1-hour guided SUP excursions every Friday and Saturday evening. Departing promptly at 8 p.m., the 1-hour tours offer guests an opportunity to view marine life only visible at night. Cost is $40 per person. Guests from these tours frequently finish the evening with a visit to the Dunes' own critically acclaimed Back Bay Bistro, where they enjoy cocktails and excellent culinary fare.
