- (1888PressRelease) May 09, 2016 - NEWPORT BEACH - The 43rd annual Newport Boat Show - the show presenting the largest collection of big yachts west of the Mississippi - will return to Lido Marina Village in Newport Beach, May 12-15. At the 2016 event, show-goers will be able to step aboard and compare the unique features of more than 200 pleasureboats - including brand-new models, as well as ocean-tested brokerage yachts that come pre-loaded with sought-after amenities.
Guests will not want to miss the Everglades 360LXC as it makes it West Coast debut at the show. Presented by Newport Pontoons, the vessel is only one of four in the USA, making it a must see for serious boat buyers. The official luxury cruising model is more passenger-focused than other models as the vessel boasts a spacious 100-square-foot lounging area that houses an L-shaped lounge that can serve as a dining area or a sunbed. The boat sleeps five to six passengers and the redesigned helm features an ergonomic captain and companion seating area with plenty of space for three.
Ferretti Group will have the Pershing 62 on display at the show as the vessel makes it West Coast debut. The vessel features a graceful streamlined profile that continues inside the cabin with a full beam master cabin positioned for optimal light. The VIP cabin in the bow has a double window with a porthole designed to enhance natural light.
"Just when you thought we would never see the big yacht selection get any bigger, it's getting bigger," said show producer Duncan McIntosh. "There are a number of new boat builders from Europe we've never seen before who will be making their West Coast debut at the May show."
Attendees can inspect and compare vessels of all models and sizes and see the latest and greatest features and amenities that today's top boat builders have to offer. Guests will also find a whole host of exhibitors both shoreside and in the water showcasing innovative products and services that make owning and operating a big boat more enjoyable.
Boating services will also be showcased at the annual show, including marine financing and insurance. Two standup paddleboard exhibitors will be on site, including Southwind Kayak who will introduce the brand new Hobie Mirage Eclipse stand up pedal board at the show.
Lido Marina Village is located at Via Lido and Newport Boulevard in Newport Beach, one block south of Pacific Coast Highway. Show hours - rain or shine -- are noon-7 p.m. Thursday; 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Friday and Saturday; and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $15 (credit cards accepted) for adults and free for children 12 and younger.
Free offsite parking and continuous shuttle service will be available. Guest docks are available for show attendees' vessels up to 21 feet.
