Newly Launched Magazine That Caters To The Incarcerated Seeks Model Talent For Features
Kyte Magazine, founded by former General Manager of The Source Magazine, Leroy Peeples aka Bum, is currently seeking models to fill it's Kyte Cuties section.
- Boston, MA-NH (1888PressRelease) April 03, 2011 - Kyte Magazine is a newly-launched magazine and website that is dedicated to giving the currently incarcerated a voice in society by allowing much of the content to be generated from behind prison walls. Kyte Magazine believes through this voice countless members of the younger generation can be deterred from walking the same path. "We are an outlet for the inmate to not only showcase their talents and aspirations but a way to encourage those who may be amongst the lost and forgotten population." says founder, Leroy Peeples.
The majority of the content will be produced by inmates currently in the system. There will also be some content that is derived from family members of the incarcerated and the general. This content will include:
Cell-O-Grams - A support system assisting family members of those who are incarcerated, through special encouragement to inmates.
Kyte Cuties - if you are a model and would like to be featured in our magazine please send us your picture and contact info.
Lifer - A section to support men and women who have been sentenced to life in prison.
Reentry Resources - Resources that will help inmates being released back to society, access housing, jobs, training, and other resources needed for success.
Shout-Outs - Sending love to your family and friends with a photo of you.
Spit 16 - Showcase your rapping skills with the best 16 lines of your rhymes.
Testimonials - Hear from family what it is like to be on the opposite side of the wall.
Poetry - Written words by some of the best writers in the system about their loss, lessons learned, and heart.
As it is one of the few sections not derived from the inmate population of the United States, Kyte magazine is seeking models to fill its Kyte Cuties section. Models will be featured in the print edition as well as on www.KyteMagazine.com. This feature will include an interview, pictorial, and any info the model may want to promote such as 8×10 photo or poster sales, etc. Kyte Magazine has enlisted Nicole Doree, Publicity and PR firm, to acquire the model talent for these features. Models may submit to be featured by emailing their best high res images, bio, resume, and contact info to kytemag [@] nicoledoree.com for consideration.
Kyte Magazine does not intend to glorify prison life, nor will it be dumbed down. Kyte Magazine will be as factual as possible within the guidelines of the system. The magazine is open to any and all suggestions that are positive and will help deter young people from making the same mistakes as a lot of us have made. Some of the most brilliant minds with voices to be heard are behind bars. Kyte Magazine looks forward to your help in creating the magazine's sections, as well as setting the tone of this highly anticipated publication.
Inquiries about the magazine can be made to kytemagazine [@] gmail.com.
