When applications call for vacuum or suction, wrapped rubber hose is sometimes used. It can be heavy, bulky, costly, and quite stiff depending on its construction (number of layers, type of rubber material and reinforcement). Newflex addresses these concerns with its all-PVC construction. It's reinforced with spirals that help the tubing flex without kinking, resist crushing, and withstand vacuum applications as high as 28 in./Hg. It works well in pressure applications, too.
