Newbridge Venture Partners survey indicates that investors have positive outlook on US economy

(1888PressRelease) June 12, 2015 - HONG KONG - Amidst continued strong performance by the US stock market, 71% of high-net-worth investors surveyed by Newbridge Venture Partners' Research Division believe the US economy will be the same or better 12 months from now, and 83% have a similar outlook for their local economy.

Newbridge Venture Partners' Director of Research, Mr. Peter Simpson commented on the investor survey saying "While investors clearly are feeling the benefits of two consecutive years of strong performance in US equities, the debate continues over the length and durability of the current bull market, and the impact and timing of higher interest rates. It's no surprise, then, that two-thirds of high-net-worth investors say they rely on a financial professional for advice and guidance."

Newbridge Venture Partners' Investor Survey was conducted via telephone interviews among 1,000 investors globally with $200,000 or more in investible assets and between the ages of 25 and 55. The survey was conducted in September 2014 through to April 2015.

Newbridge Venture Partners' Global Head of Investments, Mr. Stanley Hoon added "Investors are even more bullish on the prospects for their own investment portfolios. Around 90% foresee their investments performing the same or better a year from now."
