New Website Debuts at Picture-Frames-Warehouse
DisplayShops is introducing a new website, aimed at simplifying the shopping experience through simplified navigation.
- (1888PressRelease) October 19, 2010 - Picture-Frames-Warehouse, a DisplayShops specialty website, has just launched a new site featuring its line of photo, poster, and picture frames. The company has assembled their frame products under one roof, designed to enhance the customer experience with improved product navigation.
As Sandra Reno, Marketer for Picture-Frames-Warehouse, states, "One of our big problems was pointing customers to our picture frame products through other, more generalized websites. Forcing customers to click through category after category of unrelated products to get to where they wanted to go proved a frustrating experience, not only for customers but also for the company. Realizing lost profit due to complex navigation and a website too large for its own good, we decided to build a new website aimed at one product line only."
The picture frames line comprises displays for residential and commercial applications. Frame materials include wood, metal extrusion, recycled plastics, injection-molded plastics, and heat-formed acrylic sheet. Standard sizes are available in 4" x 6", 5" x 7", 8" x 10", and 8-1/2" x 11". The poster frame line features frames from 18" x 24" to 36" x 48", including the standard movie poster format, 27" x 40".
"We have simplified product categorization at the home page level", continues Reno. "Each frame style is given its own master category with no more than one or two sub-category navigations below it. This quickens the shopping experience for customers and brings them to the product they are looking for in a logical manner. The main priority was to simplify the website, increasing product awareness through improved navigational structuring."
