New VP of the Richard David Kann Melanoma Foundation; Brian D. Guralnick
Brian D. Guralnick, a West Palm Beach accident attorney, has recently been appointed as the Vice President of the Richard David Kann Melanoma Foundation.
- West Palm Beach-Boca Raton, FL (1888PressRelease) October 17, 2012 - Mr. Guralnick's mother passed away from a case of misdiagnosed melanoma in 1997 at the age of 69 after a three-year battle with this terrible disease. This unfortunate tragedy is why Brian is so passionate about the Richard David Kann Melanoma Foundation and its vision to spread awareness of the disease and educate people about how to prevent themselves and their families from being affected by it.
The prime mission of the Richard David Kann Melanoma Foundation is to prevent the onslaught of melanoma through education and early detection of skin cancer, especially melanoma. It is the only organization in Florida that caters to this cause.
The Richard David Kann Melanoma Foundation is one of the first organizations in the country that has been on the cutting edge of skin cancer preventive education. After extensive reviews of health education literature, the Foundation selected the successful SunSmart curricula from Australia on which to base its many programs and adapt to local educational standards and environment for grades K-12. The Foundation's vision is "to educate children throughout the country and give them the skills necessary to make healthy sun safety choices throughout their lives."
Brian's dedication towards helping people with medical injuries extends beyond the foundation. He has actively been involved in the Palm Beach legal community since 1993 and since that time has taken up various leadership positions within it. Brian has also been associated with local civic and charitable organizations in and around Palm Beach County in addition to the Richard David Kann Melanoma Foundation.
Brian D. Guralnick is the founder of the West Palm Beach Injury Law firm - Injury Law Offices of Brian D. Guralnick. He obtained his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with high honors from the University of Florida and went on to achieve his Juris Doctorate at the Stetson University College of Law.
