New TV Pilot "On the Streets" Seeks Network Home
It's real reality TV with "Real People! Real Life! Real Stories!" on the streets of Hollywood, CA.
- (1888PressRelease) May 04, 2011 - Taped live in Hollywood, California, on Hollywood Blvd, the show's bold host Carlton Enoch, flags down people on the streets for a live interview totally unaware and caught off guard of the show's weekly topic. Enoch ask controversial questions like: "Have you ever been molested as a child?", he even dares to go deeper by asking controversial questions like: "Do you hate Niggers, Spicks or Hymmes?" But it's Carlton's sympathetic eyes, warm smile and hardy and engaging laugh that really catch their attention, and believe it or not people actually stop to talk and answer his questions.
The host, Carlton Enoch consciously pushes the interviewee and the TV viewer to explore their own deeper responses, thoughts and feelings through comedy, drama and even tears. The flow of each episode will travel through major emotions and moods engaging in situations in humor, love/friendships/relationships, drama, anger, inspiration and hope. Viewers will be able to empathize and sympathize with those interviewed through common experiences, true life and laughter.
The show is tightly edited with historical photography and/or documentary or comedic footage and music that carry the subject of each week's show while co-host Mina Chow, a professor at USC, covers the facts and statistics. Co-host Trevor Dow, with a childlike innocence adds an open minded viewpoint adding a fresh perspective to the weekly topic.
It is a hard-hitting Urban TV show that can take place "On the Streets" of any major metropolitan city, guest starring, Everyday Real Life People sharing what they are really feeling and thinking about today's world and/or personal issues that affect us all.
