New TV Game Show Showcases San Francisco Bay Area's Talent
"Do The Hustle" will feature three talented judges, an amazing host as weel as some featured regular performers. Each 28 minute episode will feature 8-10 local Bay Area talents. From strange to gifted, we will feature all kinds of performers from around the Bay Area who would like to showcase what they can do. Every act will either finish to the end or "Get Hustled".
- San Francisco, CA (1888PressRelease) August 17, 2011 - Northern California based production company, Delaurian Productions, has launched the development of a new TV game show called, "Do The Hustle", to be shot in the San Francisco Bay Area and launched in November 2011. The announcement was made by the show's producer/director, Delicia Niami, founder of Delaurian Productions.
Each 28 minute "Do The Hustle" episode will feature 8-10 contestants. The contestants will be made up of local San Francisco Bay Area talent. Each episode will feature three witty judges, a hilarious host and a few regular guest performers.
From the totally strange to the truly gifted, each contestant will have to quickly impress the judges in order to finish their performance; otherwise they will "Get Hustled" from the stage in a campy flourish of mirror ball lights, music and our very own "Hustle" dancers.
Auditions will be held at A Taste of Tapestry Labor Day Event on Saturday (9/3/11) and Sunday (9/4/11) from 10:00am to 6:00pm at San Jose's own beautiful History Park located at 1650 Senter Road, San Jose, CA 95112.
"Americans are in love with quirky reality television shows. The 70s are coming back into style in a variety of ways. What a great way to re-live an incredible era by reinventing the 70's quirky talent show right here in San Jose," said Niami.
With the perpetual appeal of the reality television and games shows, right now is the perfect moment to bring this style of television back. "Do The Hustle" is positioned to be released in November, 2011 and will be aired on Comcast channel 15 in San Jose and Campbell as well as live streaming on the CreaTV website. Since their inception, they have completed two short films that are being entered into festivals around the world, one 28 minute television episode and seven other short film projects.
