New Traffic Inspector Version Is Out
Smart-Soft is pleased to announce the release of a new version of Traffic Inspector.
- (1888PressRelease) November 08, 2013 - Traffic Inspector 3.0.1.813 is the first truly 64-bit version of the program. Previously, support for x86-64 was only featured by the program networking drivers. Support for 64-bit platforms removes most of the restrictions related to a classical 32-bit architecture (4 GB of physical address space, max 3 GB of installed RAM, 2 GB of virtual address space per application). Thanks to this improvement, Traffic Inspector components like TI proxy server can now sustain a much higher load (up to 1000 users accessing the Internet via TI web proxy).
Notable bug fixes include:
Error connecting to server via Administration Console when the main service is disabled / starting up
Error accessing the server using remote Administration Console
Incorrect stats on traffic consumption when using PostgreSQL
Error adding users from a different trusted domain
"Access violation" error when navigating the MMC console tree
We strongly encourage you to update to the newly released version of the program for better stability and performance.
The update procedure is simple:
Uninstall the previous version of Traffic Inspector
Install the new version of Traffic Inspector
Please note that it is mandatory to uninstall the previous version of a program before installing the new version. All configuration settings and collected statistical data are located in "Config" and "Data" folders respectively. These folders are not deleted as part of uninstallation and will be automatically picked up by the newly installed version of the program.
You can download Traffic Inspector 3.0.1.813 on our official web site.
