New Tourism Policy to encourage Investment in Tourism
Minister of State for Tourism and Culture (Independent Charge) Shri Surendra Patwa said that new tourism policy being implemented by the state government will encourage and boost investment in tourism sector. He mentioned that Madhya Pradesh tourism has reached every family and every corner of the state through student participants of the quiz.

Also, keep interest and get connected to old culture, heritage, archeology and places of state. He congratulated the tourism team and school education department for successful holding competition to commemorate world tourism day.
Chairman of the State tourism development corporation Shri Tapan Bhoumik said that efforts are being made to generate awareness among the students through competition. Referring to Excellent Tourism State Award conferred to Madhya Pradesh, he said that there is a need for more efforts to bring Madhya Pradesh in the world tourism arena.
Guests distributed awards to the winner of quiz competition Mount Fort School, Mandla, Excellence School Khandwa and Government excellence school Tikangarh and certificates and discount cards to D.P.S. Bhopal, Teerath School Indore and Naveen excellence school Dewas for securing second position. Members of the winner team will get a chance to take part in adventure tourism at Himachal Pradesh. Discount cards were also given by the state tourism development corporation to the winner and runner up teams.
Deputy Chairman of APEX bank Shri Kailash Soni, Shri Dhananjay Bhadoria and Shri Sultan Singh Shekhwat were present in the programme. Managing Director Shri Hari Ranjan Rao and additional MD Sushri Tanvi Sundriyal welcomed the guests.
