New Scientology Information Center a Hub for Local Networking
On April 13th the Scientology Information Center, located at 500 Cleveland Street will be hosting a reception which will provide a forum for networking, as well as educational information about the Church. The reception will be from 6-8pm. There is no cost to attend.
- (1888PressRelease) March 30, 2016 - CLEARWATER, FL - The reception will host guests in the Historic Bank of Clearwater Building. Hors d' hoeuvres and beverages will be served. Guests will receive a brief introduction to the Center and what information it provides to visitors.
The Scientology Public Information Center houses four interactive displays, with close to 300 videos on Dianetics and Scientology tenets, Churches around the world, the Church's humanitarian programs and Scientology's founder, Mr. L. Ron Hubbard.
Following the reception, guests will proceed to the six adjacent humanitarian program centers, each dedicated to addressing specific social ills in the society, including: drug abuse, human rights violations, mental health advocacy and criminal rehabilitation which are open to the public.
Since its opening on July 11, 2015 the Info Center has welcomed some 8,000 guests from all walks of life. It has also hosted events from members of human rights organizations, drug education associations, hospitality professionals, chefs, restaurateurs and local social groups.
