(1888PressRelease) December 01, 2008 - The feature for the user interface is now available as a stand-alone tool, or as an Eclipse plug in. This replaces the aging Swing-based user-interface while retaining its most valuable property, namely, its availability on every mainstream platform.

New functions are available at your finger tips such as: checking a set of files; navigating though the violations using your rules and source files; displaying statistics about the checking runs you have performed; exporting violation reports, managing the rules and associated regression tests; locally disabling a rule.

The RainCode Checker 2.0 by using a relational database i.e. Sqlite, MySql, Oracle or other can replace previously used XLM files. As a result, one or more users can accumulate multiple checking campaigns as well as producing queries using ad hoc tools.

While maintain investment in the previous version, a fully automated seamless wizard is available to migrate your projects existing codes. The command-line behavior still available has now parameters to control the database connection. This unique technology compared to alternative technologies, allows implementation of your own coding guidelines at a fraction of the cost of what is now available.
