New Primary and Urgent Care Locations Added to CPMG Network
A new facility in Oceanside with a medieval theme provides a variety of primary and specialty services to CPMG members and surrounding communities.
- (1888PressRelease) April 29, 2011 - San Diego, CA - Children's Physicians Medical Group (CPMG) in San Diego has announced that a new medical clinic approximately 20 miles north of San Diego has joined the CPMG network of care providers. The clinic is located at 3605 Vista Way in Oceanside, CA in a region that is populated by over 100,000 children within a 10 mile radius, and will provide more convenient medical services to area members of the CPMG family. Along with primary care services, the facility also provides after hours urgent care, general and trauma counseling, family support services, behavioral crisis intervention, and specialty care in the areas of allergy/asthma treatment, cardiology, endocrinology, ear/nose/throat treatment, gastroenterology, urology, audiology, occupational therapy, physical therapy, and speech-language pathology.
The Oceanside clinic is a facility of 28,500 square feet that was built with the help of a $2.5 million donation provided by the Wygods' Rose Foundation. Named "Castle of Care" ®, the clinic is designed and decorated to resemble a fairytale castle that offers an entertaining and inviting atmosphere. Members of the CPMG family are able to use the facility thanks to a partnership made between Rady Children's and Sanford Children's hospitals.
Prior to the opening of the Oceanside clinic, CPMG patients in Oceanside and surrounding areas were required to commute nearly 20 miles to other CPMG facilities in order to receive care. With the addition of the Oceanside clinic to the list of CPMG providers, CPMG parents in the Oceanside area are now able to provide their children with more convenient and timely care.
Along with offering more convenience to Oceanside area CPMG patients, CPMG hopes to introduce new families to the multitude of services provided by the new location. CPMG San Diego is dedicated exclusively to providing affordable, quality medical care to children in all of San Diego and Southern Riverside counties. In addition to the medical services provided, CPMG also makes an effort to keep parents everywhere up to date and well informed on information that keeps kids safe and healthy. The hours of operation for After-Hours Urgent Care at Castle of Care ® are Monday through Friday from 4:30 to 10:30 p.m, and Saturday through Sunday and most major holidays from 1 to 4 p.m. The facility is scheduled to operate during the summer holidays from 1 to 10 p.m. and during the winter holidays from 4 to 10 p.m., but visitors are asked to call (760) 547-1000 prior to their visit to verify summer and winter holiday hours.
