New Pop-Hip Hop Artist, PARIS, Sets Internet Ablaze with Debut Album
If singer/songwriter/Hip Hop artist, PARIS' sound could be likened to a fine wine, he'd be a California Drake, aged in Kanye, with sweet hints of Chris Brown, and a taste of Trey Songz.
- (1888PressRelease) July 13, 2010 - PARIS - young tour de force singer/songwriter/rapper - is kicking off the release of his forthcoming album, SONGS ABOUT A GIRL VOL. 1: CUPID'S LAST ARROW. The anticipated mixtape will be made available online for free download on July 14th.
SONGS ABOUT A GIRL VOL. 1: CUPID'S LAST ARROW, is a highly personal album of 21 original songs, written and co-produced by PARIS, about the ups and downs of falling in young love and the anger and sorrows of falling out of love. SONGS… is a well-balanced and tasteful mixtape featuring a varied selection; from atmospheric pop ballads like, Just What I Needed, to up-tempo club bangers like, Number 1.
SONGS... features contributions from some of the most talented, underground producers to hit the scene, including Burnt Joint Productions, Chris Warrior, and Block Kids. Sometimes sexy, other times raw and sensitive, PARIS' songwriting skills and lyrical finesse are perfectly paired to the musical talents of his stellar producing team.
PARIS was born and raised in sunny California, and by age 5 was already performing on stage and recording with his godmother gospel artist Mary Floyd. Now at a mere 20 yrs old, this trail blazing young artist has been busy co-writing/producing hits for Def Jam recording artist Steph Jones, and Grammy award winning artists Usher and D'Angelo. Most recently he was asked by Universal/Fontana to pen songs for Danity Kane member, D. Woods, while also having placed a song with Bad Boy Recording artist, Jeremy Greene.
Lyrically sophisticated, vocally polished, and musically current, PARIS leaves no doubt that he is ready to join Pop & Hip Hop's heavy hitters. SONGS ABOUT A GIRL VOL. 1: CUPID'S LAST ARROW will be available for download beginning July 14th through I-Tunes Podcasts, Reverbnation.com/therealparis & at the official website, reconstructingparis.com.
