Grand prize is a new top of the line Whirlpool Kitchen; 10 new appliances to be awarded for category winners.

In recognition of the grand opening, the company is offering a chance to win various new appliances by entering the I Need a New Appliance video contest.
The contest, which is open to the public, starts today, July 23, 2012, and will run until October 12, 2012. It seeks contestants that want or need new appliance(s) to submit videos on various themes and topics for public judging. The grand prize is a complete, top of the line, luxurious, stainless steel Whirlpool kitchen set (refrigerator, range and dishwasher) for the overall best video based on votes. All videos must be submitted by September 28, 2012, and will be judged by the public. Winners will be determined by the number of votes they receive for their submission on the www.everyappliancepart.com website.
In addition to the grand prize, Every Appliance Part will also be presenting 10 individual prizes of new, high end, efficient appliances to category winners. Categories include:
Most creative video/weirdest video;
Most unique use for an appliance video;
Best song and dance video;
Best superhero themed video;
Most creative way to keep an appliance working video; and
Five of the best videos explaining why the contestant needs a new laundry appliance.

Voting will be open to the public until October 12 and voters can vote once on a video in a 24 hour period during the duration of the voting period of the contest.
Contestants are welcome to submit as many digitally formatted videos as they wish in any of the categories. Contestants can submit their video by uploading it to contest.everyappliancepart.com, which will provide easy to follow instructions on how to upload a video. Videos must be within the time limits of no less than 30 seconds and not exceeding three minutes.
