New Miss Malibu USA To Be Crowned Against The Natural Beauty Of The Pacific Ocean On August 21, 2010
Bianca Peters, who was crowned Miss Malibu 2010 last August, will be in attendance to pass the crown to her successor. Joining Bianca will be KTLA Morning News Reporter (and Professional Media Trainer) Wendy Burch and Emmy-winning actress/activist/author Jackie Guerra who will serve as co-hosts for this year's festivities.

In previous years, the Pageant has been attended by some of Los Angeles' most influential professionals, and this year will be no exception. The Pageant will take place on Saturday, August 21, 2010 from 4pm-6pm and will include 30 contestants who have served as community leaders and are top achievers both academically and philanthropically. GRAMMY®-nominated and multiplatinum-selling recording artist Taylor Dayne will be in attendance as one of ten judges who will select Malibu's new queen. She will be joined by Stephanie Pratt (The Hills), Necar Zadegan (24, Outlaw), Shar Jackson (Celebrity Fit Club), Eric Viskovicz (Celebrity Personal Trainer), Marnie Saitta (Head Casting Director―Days of Our Lives), Lee Watkinson (Professional Poker Player), Annie Roberts (E! Casting Director), Jefferson Wagner (Mayor of Malibu) and Ashley Jones (True Blood). The GRAMMY-nominated pop rock band Plain White T's will be on hand as Honorary Guest Judges to personally select and present the Most Photogenic acknowledgment. Noted LA philanthropists Christine and Dr. Gabriel Chiu will present the Special Awards for Community Service and Miss Congeniality. Model, actress, DJ and swimsuit designer Caroline D'Amore will provide entertainment for the audience as well as her chic swimsuits for the contestants.
The Official Miss Malibu After Party/Celebration will be held at the iconic Malibu seafood destination Gladstones from 6:30pm - 9:30pm where guests will enjoy a special new menu, DJ and signature drinks throughout the evening.

The Miss Malibu Organization hopes to offer a venue where young women in the local community from 14 to 26 years old can grow personally in poise, confidence, goal setting, public speaking, communication skills, physical fitness and self-discipline.
