(1888PressRelease) March 30, 2012 - In line with their continued commitment to provide educators with helpful, cost-saving services, Mackin Educational Resources has developed two new BookTalk Now! webcasts highlighting the best of the newest spring titles for school, classroom and public library collections.

As a free collection development service, Mackin's professional librarians have prepared an elementary and a middle/high school webcast, each featuring over 110 titles and series. These BookTalk Now! webcasts showcase full-color cover images of each featured title as well as a sampling of page spreads, a thorough description of each book, its special features and information as to how the book can be used in a library or classroom situation. A wide variety of titles encompass all grade levels and subjects within each webcast including Math, Social Studies, Science, Language Arts, Picture Books, Realistic Fiction and more.

Titles included within the BookTalk Now! webcasts have been carefully selected by Mackin collection professionals based on meetings with publishers, information from respected review sources, updated catalogs and newly released advance book samples.
