New Luxury Condominium Akoya Boca West Among Sponsors Of "The Concert For The Children" Featuring Diana Ross April 1

- Fort Lauderdale, FL (1888PressRelease) March 22, 2014 - Siemens Group, developer of the new luxury condominium Akoya, breaking ground at Boca West Country Club fall 2014, has announced that Akoya will be among the sponsors for The Concert for the Children, a fundraiser featuring the legendary Diana Ross, on Tuesday, April 1. Taking place in the Akoya Amphitheater on the great lawn at Boca West, the concert has been organized by the Boca West Foundation and will benefit 14 area children's charities. Tickets are $150 a piece, and organizers hope to raise $1 million at the event, with all profits going to the charities. Concert guests will have the chance to preview renderings of Akoya and get more information on the much-anticipated new project, slated to break ground this fall.

Doors will open at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, April 1, followed by a performance by Black Violin, a classically trained South Florida twosome, at 7:30 p.m. Then, the legendary songstress will take to the stage at 8:30 p.m. in the Akoya Amphitheater, constructed just for the event.
The charities benefiting from The Concert for the Children, as well as the Second Annual $100,000 Charity Golf Challenge taking place at Boca West on March 31, include: Wayne Barton Learning Center, Florence Fuller Child Development Centers, The Gift of Life, Caridad Center, Boca Helping Hands, Boca Raton Police Athletic League, Jewish Adoption and Foster Care Options, Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County Children's Services, The Giving Tree, SCOPE, Boys and Girls Club of Boca Raton, SOS Children's Village - Florida, Youth Activity Center and Unicorn Children's Foundation.
In addition to Siemens Group, other co-sponsors of the concert include Citi Private Bank, Morgan Stanley, Fidelity, Wells Fargo, Fifth Third Bank and Devcon Security.
Siemens Group seeks to change the residential landscape of Boca West with Akoya, which is set to be a sanctuary of modern architecture, within the #1 Private Residential Country Club in the Country, Boca West. The nine-story, 120-unit building will boast every conceivable amenity and white-glove service. Slated to open fall 2015, Akoya has been thoughtfully designed by Garcia-Stromberg, famed architects of One Thousand Ocean, and award-winning Interiors by Steven G., known worldwide for fashionable metropolitan style.
