New Loop Pizza Grill in Jacksonville Opens this Friday
The Loop's prototype is opening November 30 in St. Johns Town Center.
- Jacksonville, FL (1888PressRelease) November 29, 2012 - JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Fans of The Loop Pizza Grill in Jacksonville have another thing to be thankful for this month - the grand opening of a new Loop in Jacksonville's St. Johns Town Center.
The restaurant opens this Friday, November 30, and is The Loop's ninth Jacksonville location. It will introduce a new design that will serve as the prototype for future Loop locations.
The new Loop features work by local artists, paying homage to the restaurant's history and to its signature items such as cheesy, juicy hamburgers, fresh salads, tossed pizza pies and hand-dipped milkshakes.
"A funky, burger brasserie is how I would describe the feel of the place," said co-founder and designer Terry Schneider. "It's hip and comfortable; a space not only for dining, but for meeting, drinking and enjoying life.''
The warehouse-style space includes overhead iron beams, large windows, and a 50-foot mural by local artist Steve Williams,
comfy booths and sparkling industrial lighting.
Components of the new design will be incorporated into all existing locations. The new prototype will also be used to showcase the concept to franchisees.
While The Loop fans will notice the new changes, they can rest assured that the menu has not changed - their favorite tried-and-true dishes remain the same.
"At The Loop, food is always the star, but we want to incorporate a bit of the community in each Loop," said co-founder and owner Mike Schneider. "We want people to feel very comfortable as they enjoy their favorite meal."
Mother/daughter Terry Schneider and Hillary Tuttle, also co-owners, teamed up with Rebecca Davisson from Designmind LLC to create the new design elements for The Loop. In addition to Williams' mural, local artist and University of North Florida graduate Matt Stidham completed food etchings of signature menu items. Kyle Cannon also worked with Williams to incorporate Stidham's etchings into the artwork.
The Loop is less than two miles away from the University of North Florida and will be accepting the students' Osprey Card for dining.
The Loop is located in the St. Johns Town Center at 4413 Town Center Parkway, next to Total Wine.
