New Feature Update- Instagram Allows Users To Figure out Least Interacting Accounts
Today Instagram came up with another exciting update that allows users to determine the account they least interact with so that they can wipe out unnecessary followers/following.
- (1888PressRelease) February 09, 2020 - Instagram, the massive populated and world-renowned free photo/video sharing platform, added one more startling feature to its existing collection yesterday. It will help users to filter and organize a list of accounts whom they follow but interact the least.
The Head of Instagram, Adam Mosseri, Tweeted about the new feature to make people across the world mindful of this great functionality. Now, users will see two new categories under their “following” tab. Till the day before yesterday, the same tab used to display the name of entire accounts that a user follows.
Immediately after tweeting, Mosseri spent a few minutes explaining the process of rolling out any new features on Instagram.
“Now, with our ‘least interacted with’ tab, users can easily specify the accounts they have interacted with the least in the previous 3 months (or 90 days).”, says the Instagram community. “ And, in contrast to that, the ‘most shown in feed’ option comes up with the names of accounts shown the most in users’ feed.”, they added.
Instagram claims that this advanced feature won’t embarrass users and is going to be extremely easy in holding desired followers and removing unwanted ones. They merely need to visit their profile to click on the following list. Consequently, the feature lets the account categorize the followers in two sections “least interacted with” and “Most Shown in Feed”. From here, once can easily remove unnecessary accounts in seconds.
Users all over the globe have seen appreciating this feature since they were already looking for an effective way to cut out pity followers from their account. The update also shows Instagram’s concern towards its users to make sure they have a good time using the app.
It further aids in getting rid of accounts that spam user’s feed with numerous annoying posts. Next to this major Instagram update, users are waiting eagerly to see the “removing like” option to bring uniformity in the posts.
