Facing Cancer Together (FCT) announces new Executive Director, Gail Bork. FCT is located in the greater Boston area and offers comprehensive services and professionally facilitated programs including weekly support groups for individuals fighting various types of cancer and their caregivers, regardless of the ability to pay.
- Boston, MA-NH (1888PressRelease) March 22, 2012 - Facing Cancer Together (FCT) is pleased to announce that Gail Bork has joined the organization as Executive Director. FCT is a Greater Boston area nonprofit organization that guides and empowers individuals through the challenges of cancer. FCT offers a broad range of services and professionally facilitated programs including weekly support groups for individuals and their caregivers, expressive arts programming, and mind-body wellness groups.
Ms. Bork brings extensive experience in cancer education, advocacy and donor relations to Facing Cancer Together. Prior to becoming FCT's Executive Director, Ms. Bork had worked as a Program Manager for the American Cancer Society, Director of Development and Communication at Bay State Community Services, Inc. and a Philanthropy Officer at South Shore Hospital and the Dana-Farber/Brigham and Women's Cancer Center in clinical affiliation with South Shore Hospital.
