New Crest Hill Family Fun Entertainment Center Set to Open in Fourth Quarter 2011
Family center to feature roller skating, laser tag and more for parents and children aged 14 and under; Crest Hill schools invited to participate in 'naming contest'
- Chicago, IL (1888PressRelease) October 05, 2011 - A brand new 24,000-square foot family fun entertainment center is being constructed at the intersection of Theodore Street and Cedarwood Drive in Crest Hill, Ill., with a projected opening date in the fourth quarter of 2011.
The new family fun entertainment center will be a multi-attraction venue, anchored by a quick-service restaurant with a quality food menu and numerous activities, including roller skating, laser tag, a full arcade and prizes. To accommodate a family-friendly environment for parents and children under age 14, the new center will feature a large display of televisions, free Wi-Fi, and family-friendly music at acceptable noise levels.
The Crest Hill family fun entertainment center is the brainchild of its three partners: Brian Eversman, and father and son team, Mike Chiodo and Michael Chiodo. Each brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the service industry. Brian Eversman currently operates two other family fun centers that focus on entertainment for families and children. Mike Chiodo, a former restaurant franchisee, has also held executive leadership roles in the franchising industry and business operations roles. Michael Chiodo has held senior management roles in the restaurant and real estate industries.
"We are looking forward to ensuring the new Crest Hill family entertainment center is a comfortable place for parents to spend time with their children," says partner Brian Eversman. "Children at the junior high level and younger can experience high-energy, quality fun that will keep them active for hours. There are plenty of opportunities for parents to stay involved as well. Whether skating in the roller rink, playing laser tag, using our free Wi-Fi service, or enjoying delicious food at the center's restaurant, we offer exciting and pleasing entertainment for the whole family and fun get-togethers for any occasion."
The partners have already begun working with the City of Crest Hill to ensure an amicable introduction to the community.
"We are thrilled to work with the City of Crest Hill, and will do everything we can to ensure a harmonious collaboration among the new family fun center and the community," says Mike Chiodo. "We have already developed a great relationship with valued leaders in Crest Hill, and look forward to sustaining an active, collaborative partnership among Crest Hill's residents and organizations."
The Crest Hill family fun center has not yet officially been named, and is launching a community campaign this week to invite Crest Hill school students to submit their ideas for a name. Winning names will receive prizes, which include free skating and laser tag packages for large groups. The official request for name submissions, along with contest rules and procedures, will be distributed among participating Crest Hill schools.
