  • Charlotte-Gastonia-Rock Hill, NC-SC (1888PressRelease) October 02, 2014 - In a children's literature market that's flooded with books targeted towards girls, "Jon-Lorond Saves the Day" promises to deliver a heartfelt story that instills values for young boys such as bravery, honesty, courage, and most of all, imagination.

Writer Hanna Rasco has teamed up with award-winning illustrator Luke Flowers (www.lukeflowerscreative.com) to create the powerful story about the collision of a boy's imagination and reality.

This project was born out of a love for children's books. However, after Hanna had 2 boys, she kept searching for a children's picture book where the boy was the imaginative, funny, and intelligent protagonist. She couldn't find stories to share with her sons that celebrated the special qualities that make little boys unique.

So with unfettered passion, Hanna sought to write a book about a boy and his unstoppable imagination. This story seeks to promote those values that parents would want for their children: values of courage and bravery, honesty and commitment. These are values that will build foundations for tomorrow's leaders.

A Kickstarter campaign is currently under way to help raise funds for the illustration and publication for this picture book. There are only two weeks left in the campaign as it will end early on October 15th.
