New channels for Swisscom TV
Swisscom is continuously expanding its TV package. With immediate effect, all customers are able to access four additional channels: 3+, Collection, Rai Sport 2 and Boing.
- (1888PressRelease) September 09, 2011 - Swisscom TV plus subscribers will also benefit from two new HD channels: ORF 1 HD and ORF 2 HD. And there's more for you to see when you're on the go too, because Swisscom TV air will be offering 12 additional channels from 14 September 2011.
Swisscom TV is constantly adding to its selection of channels, covering a broad range of topics and languages. With immediate effect, Swisscom TV customers can now also access the programming of 3+. This channel offers a wide variety of Swiss programmes and popular TV series from the US. The new German-language channel, Collection, is devoted to topics such as travel and lifestyle, the outdoors and nature. What's more, Swisscom is also offering its TV customers two new Italian-language channels: Rai Sport 2 and Boing. The basic offering of HD channels for Swisscom TV plus is being expanded to a total of 16 channels and will now include ORF 1 HD and ORF 2 HD.
12 new channels for Swisscom TV air
From 14 September 2011, Swisscom will be offering fans of mobile television viewing 12 new TV channels, including 3+, ORF 2, Super RTL, Sport 1, 3sat, BR, SWR, WDR, Sixx, Arte de, Arte fr and RTL 9. This means that the 250,000 customers of Swisscom TV air will be able to choose from over 60 channels to enjoy at home on their PC or laptop or on their mobile phone while on the move.
HD coverage to exceed 75 per cent by the end of the year
Swisscom is constantly expanding its network to allow ever more customers to enjoy high-definition TV. More than 70% of the Swiss population are already able to benefit from HD quality via Swisscom TV, a figure that is set to exceed 75% by the end of this year.
