- Seattle-Bellevue-Everett, WA (1888PressRelease) March 11, 2019 - Marie Buckner, owner/operator of the popular online site known as Booktoots' Healing, is pleased to announce the release of her new book titled “Water Exercises for TKR Patients”.
Marie wants others to know that “After going through the total knee replacement recuperation process, I started using water as my exercise medium. Since these maneuvers work for me, they may work for you. The exercises are useful for anyone with mobility concerns.”
Her 35-page book contains 25 unique exercises, some with up to three variations. Exercises vary from shallow to deep waters, so there is something to satisfy all skill levels.
“You do not need to swim to do my exercises. Some involve maintaining contact with the pool's surface. Others include being in deep waters,” Marie says.
As mentioned, even though the book is geared towards those recuperating, or living, with a total knee replacement – anyone with mobility concerns can get involved
Marie likes to point out that water exercises make falling impossible. "Falling is a major concern for many people living with mobility concerns. Exercising in water takes this fear away. It turns exercising into fun."
Her PDF-formatted book is available in ebook form for purchase via Paypal. It is also available for purchase on Amazon in Kindle and hard copy formats.
