New Artist: Jacob Sunday Signs With SMG/Universal, Releases 'No Lies'

At the early age of 8, Jacob Sunday was inspired full on with music and had a passion to come up with his own unique melodies and his own personal and unique songs. It was at the age of 16 when Jacob realized this was the only job he wanted to do and pursue long term.

After graduating high school, Jacob sought out to make his dream a reality. He moved to the Washington DC Metropolitan area and started his own studio in his room after spending hard earned dollars on recording equipment. After getting the training and practice he needed, he knew he truly belonged in a professional recording studio and in the entertainment industry.

Now after putting in much hard work, Jacob Sunday has built up a following, has thousands of fans and is currently signed with SMG Global Network/Universal Music Group. Jacob Sunday's musical influences came from Michael Jackson, The Temptations, and John Legend. He credits God and his Family for being there for him every step of the way.

In a recent interview with The Hype Magazine, Jacob answered some questions about his new signing and upcoming "No Lies" EP:

You recently signed a deal with SMG/Universal, how does that feel for you?

Very blessed is always the first thing I think of. It feels great knowing I'll be in stores and get to go on some really big tours. I'm glad I joined The Smoke Box Music family, I'm very proud.

What is the first project you will put out under your new label?
The first project under SMG/Universal will be my new E.P. "No Lies". It'll be in stores nation wide soon. I'll be getting the release date here soon, so I'm pretty excited. If you want to know more about, it I'll have it on www.jacobsunday.com. I have a blog on my website that I post to inform my fans of what's all going on.

What should people expect from your upcoming projects?

They should expect another music video to be put out. I just got one finished for the No Lies E.P. An easy Google or YouTube search. I'll be doing some major touring here soon along with my E.P. being pushed out by Universal, also a big thanks to them.

Jacob Sunday is a solid fresh new artist and brand coming out of the DC Metropolitan area and a rising talent whose music you will remember for years to come.
