COMMUNITY FOOD DRIVE: Network Family Wellness Center is sponsoring a Food Drive for the Conscious Alliance.
(1888PressRelease) November 14, 2011 - Conscious Alliance is a Boulder, Colorado based national 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to the distribution of much-needed food to impoverished communities across the United States. The Conscious Alliance operates through ongoing, grassroots food collection and hunger awareness programs throughout the U.S.
Donations to Conscious Alliance benefit America's local food pantries and economically isolated Native American reservations. In 2010, Conscious Alliance expanded its focus to include not only emergency food relief, but social development work on reservations as well, with several projects directed toward Native American youth that are intended to help the younger generation develop and uphold a strong relationship to their community and culture.
Those who donate at least 5 cans of food, or a minimum of $30, to the food share will receive a consultation, a complete spinal evaluation including all recommended testing and a consultation with the doctor to review the health of your spine. All at no cost.
Items most needed are Canned Tuna & Meat, canned chili and stew, canned spaghetti and ravioli, rice, peanut butter, and canned fruit and juice. Ending hunger requires everyone's help. All donations go directly to Boulder County's needy. Call 303-998-1000
