Neit is striving to disrupt the $40Bn luggage market with its patent-pending & design-registered smart, collapsible hardcase luggage. The smart luggage brand seeks to raise a maximum of $750,000 to bolster their core team, boost marketing and continue R&D on current and new products.
After two years of dedication to development, Neit has used innovative engineering and design concepts to address the key problems faced by travelers: durability, efficiency and storage. Most people have had the experience of purchasing a suitcase for a trip away, but upon returning there is the horror of storing it. Neit’s revolutionary design removes this element, folding it away to just 3 inches.
The company is a graduate from HAX in San Francisco (world's first and most prolific hardware accelerator) and runner-up at British Invention of the Year. With the current luggage market growth rate of 26.4% CAGR, Neit manages to stand out among other luggage with its collapsible hardcase and multiple functions, suited for the urban lifestyle. The Neitcase is available in two sizes, for checked baggage and cabin. It features four foldable wheels for extra storage space and a carabiner handle to clip extra bags while in transit or to hang the case collapsed in the wardrobe. The case also comes with an optional smart tracker which is easily removable and falls under airlines' prescribed power threshold. Neit currently sells direct to consumer and aims to push into the distributor and retail channels in 2018. They also have the potential to further monetise their technology through licensing their unique features.
