Neighborhood Service Organization To Present Third Annual Starshine Theatre Workshop And Performance, Friday, July 29
Neighborhood Service Organization (NSO) will collaborate with The Players Guild of Dearborn to present its third annual Starshine Theatre, a four day summer workshop for individuals with special needs.
- Detroit, MI (1888PressRelease) July 27, 2011 - Consumers from NSO's Life Choices program will learn acting skills and stagecrafts from volunteers of the Players Guild of Dearborn. This will help them to become knowledgeable about the theatre and the performing arts. At the end of the workshop, participants will perform a live skit Free to be You and Me, which will be free and open to the public.
An afterglow reception will take place following the performance.
Since 1955, NSO has been reaching out to people across metropolitan Detroit by strengthening and empowering neighborhoods, supporting families and helping people in need.
