Next College Student Athlete Signs Multi-Year Agreement With USA Wrestling.
- (1888PressRelease) December 22, 2017 - COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Next College Student Athlete (NCSA), the largest NCAA-compliant collegiate athletic recruiting network that matches student-athletes with college coaches, has signed a multi-year agreement with USA Wrestling, the National Governing Body for the Sport of Wrestling in the United States.
The new partnership will give USA Wrestling members easy access to the largest and most successful collegiate recruiting network. In addition, NCSA will be adding Women’s Collegiate Wrestling as the 32nd sport in its recruiting network.
“We’re very excited to partner with NCSA,” says USA Wrestling Executive Director, Rich Bender. “Providing high school wrestlers, both men and women, with more resources to navigate the complex world of college recruiting, and to ultimately find the right place for them to continue their academic and athletic career is a huge win for the athletes, their parents, the schools, and the wrestling community as a whole.”
“Wrestling is one of the toughest and most demanding sports,” says Lisa Strasman, president of NCSA. “We are looking forward to working with the fiercely dedicated and competitive athletes that are part of USA Wrestling who want to compete at the college level. We are also thrilled to open our College Recruiting Network to women’s wrestling–one of the fastest-growing sports at the high school and collegiate level.”
