NC State Jenkins MBA Associate Professor Receives American Accounting Association Award
Marianne Bradford Recognized For Best Education Paper In 2010.
- Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill, NC (1888PressRelease) August 18, 2010 - The NC State Jenkins MBA program (http://mgt.ncsu.edu/mba/) has announced that Dr. Marianne Bradford, associate professor of accounting in the NC State College of Management, has won the Best Education Paper award at the American Accounting Association Information Systems (IS) Section Midyear Conference. This award is funded by the Institute of Management Accountants. Bradford's paper was titled "North Carolina State University: Implementing PeopleSoft Student Information System." Her research focuses on enterprise resource planning systems and IT outsourcing, among other topics. She had been on the faculty in the NC State College of Management's Department of Accounting since 2003, teaching in the Jenkins MBA and Master of Accounting programs. She received her doctorate in accounting from the University of Tennessee in 2001, and her MBA from Millsaps College in 1992.
