Navy Veteran and War Dawgs Enter Their 4th ABA Season

- Huntsville, AL (1888PressRelease) July 19, 2022 - The North Alabama War Dawgs are back! Team Owner Timothy Jones is excited about the War Dawgs' upcoming season and so should you! Timothy Jones is a proud US Navy veteran and joined the American Basketball Association (ABA) once he moved to Huntsville and thought it was the perfect market. The War Dawgs are entering their fourth season and have had tremendous success in the short amount of time they have been in the ABA. The team has had an all-star, and sometimes multiple in each season they have been a part of the ABA. In the second season, the War Dawgs made it to the ABA Final 8 and want to be back this year. The War Dawgs are coming for the ABA Championship this year! Not only are the War Dawgs successful on the court but they are just as successful when it comes to community involvement. The War Dawgs want their players to be a part of the Madison and Huntsville community, by volunteering their off-court time mentoring the children and participating in local food drives.
Want to be a part of this great organization? Tryouts will be held on July 30 from 4-8 pm at James Clemens High School. High school, college, professional, or no experience are welcome to try out. The early bird tryout fee lasts until July 29 and the price is $75. The at-the-door price is $100, so make sure to sign up early! The War Dawgs' home opener will be November 5th!
