After decades of musical service in the gospel/inspirational arena, native Austinite, Susan Arbuckle, invested the past year in a personal musical venture building The Susan Arbuckle Band, playing regular gigs, writing original music, and recording her first album. Debut album, Everything She Needs, delivers to fans a variety of musical choices including swampy blues, soulful ballads, wailing gospel, infectious party anthems, and more.
Susan teamed up with producers, Bryan Anderton and Derrick Montgomery of Lava Studios (Austin, Texas) to generate a fresh new offering to the Austin Music Gods (and beyond). With 7 original tunes and 2 covers, Susan shares her roots of optimism, self-confidence, and diversity; leaving a lyrical trail of strength, encouragement, and joy along the way.
Susan's voice is powerful and expressive, and easily commands the album's variety of song styles. Accompanied by some of Austin's highly respected musicians (Robert "Beto" Skiles, Phil Bass, Mark Epstein, Eric Telford's Hellfire Horns, and more), Everything She Needs, provides an energetic uplifting journey for fans that is perfectly commercial in production.
