The Mirth'O'Matics, a troupe of improvisation comedy actors from Monterey take audience
suggestions and turn them into hilarious scenes made up on the spot. This will mark the Mirthers debut performance in Salinas . "What an honor to perform in a site honoring one of America 's great writers," said Gerry Orton, the troupe's director, who drew a comparison from the Steinbeck quote, "A journey is a person itself; no two are alike." Orton observed, "Just like an improv scene, no two are alike. That's what make improv scenes so much fun."
