National Breast Cancer Awareness Month (October) Is A Good Time To Start Your Nutrition
"There is a diet and health revolution today spreading quickly around the world and the goal is to be more healthy and free of disorders and illness, including cancer," said Nutritionist Setareh Vahda.
- (1888PressRelease) September 22, 2011 - Los Angeles, CA -October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and it is also a good time to start eating better, and feeling better says Los Angeles Nutritionist Setareh Vahdat. "Food is a joy, and you can learn what to eat for weight control, diabetes, cholesterol, blood pressure, hypoglycemia, pain and even cancer," said Vahdat, whose father suffered from cancer. "I'm confident I extended his life by 21 years by helping him eat the right foods."
Vahdat said her Type 1 diabetes condition caused her to weigh more than 200 lbs. She lost 85 pounds by putting her nutrition preventive medicine into practice on herself, and continues to lose weight. When she speaks to local organizations in Los Angeles, she brings along "before" and "after" photos, which she says inspires people to eat healthier. "Let's eat food that is food, not food that looks like food," she said. "I'm a diabetic, and when I discovered how to eat right, I felt healthy again. Now, I want to inspire others and share my information to anyone wanting to regain their health."
Setareh Vahdat, a nutritionist coach and food researcher plans to conduct a series of seminars on nutrition preventive medicine, entitled, "Eating The Right Food to Regain Your Health," on Mondays, Sept. 26, Oct. 3, 10, 17, 24 and Nov. 07, 2011 from 7:00 - 10:00 p.m.
It will be held at Beith David Educational Center, 18648 Clark St., Tarzana CA 91356. (818-344-8523) For more about the seminars and where to RSVP please visit: http://www.mayocommunications.com/2011-NEWS%20RELEASES/NR-409.htm
