National Association of Distinguished Professionals Selects Skip Soyars as an Executive Member of the Executive and Professional Registry
The selection recognizes Skip Soyars's commitment to excellence in Painting.

Shortly after completing 22 years of service in the US Army, Skip Soyars retired and relocated to Virginia Beach, Virginia. Beginning a new career in writing technical manuals under military contract, he also became quite interested in motorcycling. Becoming friends with several business people who also rode motorcycles, Mr. Soyars was approached to see if he was interested in painting houses.
"After working several years as a painter and moving my way up to foreman or crew chief, I decided to go my own way and start my own painting company," Mr. Soyars said about the foundation of Paint By Numbers LLC. "Being a business owner comes with many responsibilities and challenges, but I am on site every day and I feel like our customers should be happy they selected my company and are proud of the services we provided long after we have completed our work."
Meeting with new customers, examining job requirements, doing best business practices, product selection, area and surface preparation, and estimating labor and material costs are all in a day's work for Mr. Soyars, not to mention factoring in overhead costs for insurance, vehicle and equipment maintenance, and everyday operations, but as the owner of his business he never hesitates to arrive on location and address issues or explain processes to clients and he always ensures that the final results will be pleasing to the eye for years to come. A painter, after all, must know the products that are on the market, not just the cheapest brand but the quality and characteristics of the product being applied, to a person's home or business.
Holding a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Maryland, Mr. Soyars proudly supports various charitable organizations, including his local Albemarle Teen Challenge, Chesapeake Bay Foundation, Christian Board Casting Network, and various other national programs that have a positive impact on society at large.
Notably, Mr. Soyars will be featured in the upcoming 2015/2016 edition of NADP's 'Top 100 Industry Experts' magazine for his successes in the field.
