National Association of Distinguished Professionals Selects Darrin Chapman as an Honored Member of the Executive and Professional Online Registry

- Minneapolis-St. Paul, MN-WI (1888PressRelease) April 11, 2015 - Darrin Chapman, Owner and Founder of Conceive and Capture, has been selected as an Honored Member of the National Association of Distinguished Professionals.
Making the decision to go back to school in 2012 to pursue an AAS in Video Production, Darrin Chapman is now the owner of his own video production business, Conceive and Capture, since 2014, which he opened while completing his last semester at Central Lakes College.
From day to day Mr. Chapman is typically found prepping for a shoot, which entails meeting with clients to discuss their wants and/or needs, drafting a script or outline, acquiring necessary items for shoots, and preparing and maintaining production equipment. Being on shoot means setting up the camera, lighting and audio equipment, operating the equipment, directing talent, and breaking all equipment down in hopes of leaving the area exactly the way it was found. He also does video editing, which is done in his editing suite, deliberately placing each shot together, designing the motion graphic work, balancing audio, correcting color, and outputting a final product for client specifications. Lastly, he delivers each final product to the client by meeting with them and showing it to them and making revisions if necessary.
"I have always wanted to design commercials and write and direct a movie," Mr. Chapman admits. "I originally thought that a good pathway to this would be by obtaining a business marketing degree, which I quickly found to be untrue. After several years I found myself still drawn to this field, so when deciding to go back to school, this time I chose wisely."
Hoping to someday write and direct feature films and do high end commercial work, Mr. Chapman recently put together a documentary, 'The Unique Art of Tattooing', which is now being considered for a National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Student Award, will take place on April 12, 2015.
A member of Business Networking International, Mr. Chapman is also certified through Apple as a Final Cut Pro X Editor.
