National Association of Distinguished Professionals Selects Ival Martin as an Executive Member of the Executive and Professional Online Registry
Ival Martin, President of Aerial Energy Resources, LLC, has been selected as an Executive of the Year Member of the National Association of Distinguished Professionals.

Ival Martin began his career in 2004 after serving in the US Army for several years. He attended the College of Polytechnic Engineering and Oceaneering in Wilmington, California where he developed the technical skills of mechanical integrity evaluations, offshore commercial operations, and underwater welding. He entered his career in entry level positions and quickly became a leader by assuming roles in quality management and project management. He attributes the skills he learned in the Army to his success.

Mr. Martin is President of Aerial Energy Resources (AER), LLC, located near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. AER is an engineering and testing firm with a strong focus on advanced inspection and testing applications for the energy, construction, and aerospace markets. His responsibilities include providing strategic direction for operations and ensuring customer satisfaction.
"At AER, my inspiration comes from solving problems; no greater satisfaction can be had than from providing a solution to a customer's problem," Mr. Martin said.
Looking forward to the expansion of his business, Mr. Martin wants AER to be the business people go to when they need non-destructive testing, phased array technicians, and welders. He has plans to expand the business in 2015 and reminds his management staff that "this is our year." He recently added a communication department and is working to gain new clients.
AER's services include inspecting and testing for LNG facility construction, petro-chemical plants, and power generating facilities. They also specialize in pressure vessels, high energy piping girth welds and seam welds, natural gas and liquids transportation piping, process piping, rotating equipment, compression equipment, composites, high pressure tubing, aerospace and nuclear components, and dissimilar metal welds.
AER provides many services to the oil and natural gas industry, especially in the Utica and Marcellus Shale Region. Shale gas exploration has provided a significant expansion in project availability in the region. Mr. Martin looks forward to continued application development for non-destructive testing, especially in space vehicles and off planet mining operations.
Mr. Martin's certifications include ADC Certified Commercial Diver, 6G Underwater Welder, 6G Welder, Industrial Radiography, Hyperbarics Chamber Operations, Acoustics Emmisions, Pipeline Integrity Direct, Power Generation Facility In-Service Inspection, EPRI Qualified Phased Array Ultrasonics, TOFD Ultrasonics, Guided Wave Ultrasonics, Ground Penetrating Radar, UT in Lieu of RT, ASNT NDT Level III, and AWS CWI.
