National Association of Distinguished Professionals Selects Jaipaul Persaud as an Honored Member of the Executive and Professional Online Registry

- New York, NY (1888PressRelease) October 31, 2014 - Jaipaul Persaud, President and Owner of Persauds Tax Consulting Inc., has been selected as an Honored Member of the National Association of Distinguished Professionals.
Born in Guyana, South America, Jaipaul Persaud began working at the age of 18 as a group production clerk in a pharmaceutical company. Later enrolling in accounting school due to a significant demand in the field, he began studying at Georgetown School of Accountancy the following year and later earning his Associate Degree in Accounting.
Now the president and owner of his own accounting firm, Persauds' Tax Consulting Inc., Mr. Persaud provides a various services to clients daily, whether it is tax preparation or making contacts with government agencies on their behalf to clear up taxpayer issues. Providing a wide array of tax and accounting services, he handles corporate and personal taxes and assists clients with business start-ups, providing guidance in complying with the tax and business laws relating to their businesses. He also handles all business development, business operations, and all other aspects of running his own business, including assigning duties to his staff and supervising them.
"When I migrated to the US it was very easy for me to fit into the working environment here," Mr. Persaud said. "I gained a lot of experience working in the Internal Audit Department, Guyana State Corporation, and was exposed to various accounting systems, policies, and procedures. But it was only after completing my CPA exam and attending various seminars where I met many accounting professionals who encouraged me to open my own business."
Mr. Persaud is a member of American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), New York Society of Certified Public Accountants, National Association of Tax Professionals, and National Association of Enrolled Agents. He completed six higher stage courses to stay abreast in the field, including accounting, auditing, costing, commercial law, business statistics, and business computing offered by London Chamber of Commerce in London, England. He also completed the Foundation State through the Association of Certified Accountants in London, England and passed the CPA exam through AICPA. Mr. Persaud takes yearly continued professional education credits and has since also passed the Enrolled Agent exam offered by the Internal Revenue Service.
Currently providing services to more than 2,000 business and personal clients annually, Mr. Persaud hopes to open more locations to expand his business and be able to service more clients. Two of his children are currently pursuing studies in accounting and will eventually be able to join in the family business and get hands-on experience.
