As president serving on the board of several not-for-profit organizations, Takeshia E. Price is committed to community development and embracing others, serving from the heart as a decision counselor to help build strong families and better communities. As a team, she and her husband produce and manage "School of the Prophets The Elijah Anointing", (www.ProphetRickeyPrice.Webs.Com) a teleconference prayer line and local outreach community church where they help all people increase their faith, giving them spirituality of hope through prayer and living word.
Recently, Mrs. Price was nominated for the Mrs. Prestige 2014 Award (visit www.prestigepageantryawards.com. The Mrs. Prestige Pageantry Award is granted to those providing outstanding service in pageantry and community support during and after her reign.
"It would mean so much to my family and I to win this Prestige Honorary Award. This award will enable me in my endeavors to continue to give back to my community and strength my effort to help others help themselves. Additionally, winning the Prestige Honorary Award would mean fulfilling my purpose of being my brother's keeper and being a help one to another. Born and raised in Mobile, Alabama, Mrs. Price was raised with COGIC beliefs. At the age of 17 she had given her life to Christ under the leadership of Pastor Sandra Cunningham in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. She then served as church secretary and now as the public relations manager for Charity Deliverance Temple Church since 1992. It was also during this time that she began to understand the gifts of administration, healing visions, dreams, and has since discovered that all things are possible with the help of God.
Mrs. Price is a certified in medical office administration, is a registered dental assistant, is a qualified probate real estate investor, and a certified grant writer. She has been featured in a book, called 'Visions of a Seer' in 2013. She was also crowned Mrs.Marietta Plus American 2013 under Pageant Executive Director Phillip M.Bailey and Co-Director Marcella Meyers (www.MissPlusAmerica.Com).
