National Association of Distinguished Professionals Selects Greg McGuire as an Honored Member of the Executive and Professional Online Registry

Co-founding his organization in 2011, Mr. McGuire primarily assisted in the development with intense research of the solar industry technology, trends, and needs. Now, providing independent inspections and appraisals, he also works to develop and manage a professional team of highly qualified solar specialists to provide the solar industry with needed independent inspections of solar PV systems for verification of safety and code compliance, as well as provide system appraisals to stakeholders and insurers.
"I have developed a keen sense of business and management experience dating back to my family business in 1970 as a team builder recognizing the importance of developing and nurturing a culture within our company employees," Mr. McGuire said. "I was inspired to participate in the solar industry in 2005 by researching and following solar industry trends and chose to participate in the development and sustainability of solar as a clean energy alternative."
Hoaglandz Solar Electric System Appraisals and Inspections was formed to provide needed solar photovoltaic (PV) system inspections and valuations. They discovered that there was no one systematic approach for inspecting residential PV systems after they were commissioned and wanted to make a change. Aside from operation and maintenance and remote monitoring, there is no mandate for periodic inspections for visual safety, code compliance, or on-site performance verification. But most importantly, not all solar installation companies perform at the same level of workmanship.
Hoaglandz believes they can do better than the services currently being provided to customers and that solar PV equipment and installations require regular maintenance and periodic inspections to maintain safety and peak performance.
Hoping to expand their services to include all of California, Arizona, Texas, New Jersey, Florida, and other states where solar is becoming recognized as a significant energy alternative, Mr. McGuire is eager about the future of the business.
