National Association of Distinguished Professionals Selects Dennis De Rose as an Honored Member of the Executive and Professional Online Registry

Dennis De Rose first edited a children's story about a little girl and her pony for someone over five years ago just for the fun of it. But after the author denied his request to do it for free, he agreed to accept a small stipend for his work, charging her just $5. Loving his edit, she encouraged him to stick with it and consider doing it for the long-term.
As an editor, Mr. De Rose recognizes the importance of making certain each book edited is free of any errors. It must be highly readable, compelling, and enjoyable to the reader, all qualities that an editor should look for. The editor, Mr. De Rose, should also communicate closely with each writer and form a writing team.
"It's not just about the book or the money, it's about the complete process," Mr. De Rose explains.
Mr. De Rose's company, Moneysaver Editing, puts out a newsletter, 'Moneysaver Marketing Minutia Museletter. Over 600 writers and publishers enjoy the newsletter free of charge.
Attributing over 35 years of training in the counseling field to the success of his business today, Mr. De Rose worked for the New York State Department of Corrections. The job taught him good communication skills, how to write and speak clearly, and how to pay attention to detail. Considered by many to be a nitpicking type of individual, Mr. De Rose never left any stone unturned, which could be considered a good thing when it comes to his present work as an editor.
Inspired by his late mother and father who taught him to reach for the moon, Mr. De Rose knows they would have been proud of him today. He enjoys editing fiction and aspires have worked on a bestseller or even have one of his edited manuscripts made into a movie one day. Three of the writers Mr. De Rose edited for have won gold awards for their novels from Reader's Favorite, while another writer received a bronze for his novel.
Mr. De Rose holds an AA degree from Orange County Community College and a BS in Psychology with a minor in Education from State University of New York at New Paltz.
