- Indianapolis, IN (1888PressRelease) September 12, 2014 - Bradley E. Dehnke, Owner of Brad Built, has been selected as an Honored Member of the National Association of Distinguished Professionals.
Bradley E. Dehnke began his career in January 1983 in Dallas, Texas working for Texas Instruments in defense electronics as a QA engineer/auditor. While he enjoyed the position's independence and limited supervision the position gave him, he outgrew its benign, mundane work. Applying and being offered a new position in internal facilities design/engineering at a satellite TI facility, only to decline the offer, he worked another 30 years under a variety of organizations. In 2014, Mr. Dehnke decided to venture into business by himself, forming Brad Built.
As owner/operator of his business, Mr. Dehnke has the independence and limited supervision he enjoyed so long ago. He sells, advertises, markets, promotes, does estimates, recruits, purchases tools, equipment, and materials, executes tasks, and handles all invoices and close outs of all projects. He takes pride in applying his knowledge and experience, as well as attention to detail in delivering quality work and is dedicated to solving construction, renovation, and repair challenges with time tested, valuable solutions. He is dedicated to changing an image many have of unreliable, less than trustworthy construction contractors. He appreciates, understands, recognizes, and admires both construction trades' and professionals' unique contributions.
"I focus on solving my clients' immediate needs and thrive on repeat business and referrals," Mr. Dehnke said, crediting his success to project management, supervision, drafting, design, writing, and critical thinking skills.
Mr. Dehnke's construction career was inspired by local high school and college summer construction work and a raft race construction project with his best high school friends. His experience includes managing, documenting, supervising, and expediting the Indianapolis Colts Lucas Oil Stadium's hardscape (concrete flatwork, bollards, foundations, retaining walls/steps/rails, fencing, and ticket/guard booths), restrooms (toilet partitions, accessories, etc.), and safety equipment (training tables, stretcher carts, etc.).
Mr. Dehnke holds a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering and a Master's Degree in Construction Engineering, both from Purdue University.
