Linda R. Sandsness, who holds Associate's Degrees in Accounting, Business Management, Computerized Accounting, and Marketing, a supervisory certificate, and is a recognized Women Owned Business, began her career in construction many years ago when she first started working for several contractors beginning her college years. After marrying into a family-owned plumbing business in 1972, she has since worked for general contractors and several specialty contractors, along with the family plumbing business. Her experience had led her to work on various projects, including fire stations, schools, municipality buildings, a temple, and an Air National Guard complex.
Now the owner of Custom Plumbing Construction, LLC, Linda Sandsness says there is no plumbing job too big or too small. They do new construction, remodeling, repair, and service. They also do backflow and water testing and analysis. Standing behind their slogan, "Quality, honest workmanship, guaranteed", they live up to providing the best quality service possible for the community.
"I have always been intrigued by the building of and producing of products and structures," Linda Sandsness said, whose father influenced her greatly in the field by working in refrigeration installation and repair for much of his career.
As owner, Linda Sandsness oversees just about every aspect of the business, including everything from answering the phones to signing paychecks to providing a pleasant work environment.
Linda Sandsness's founded her own business only after her husband's family-owned plumbing company were facing several business structure legalities. Taking matters into her own hands, she passed the State of Oregon Construction Contractors Board testing and achieved all requirements to open her own plumbing business. Her Husband Steve left the family business as VP of the company he had been with for his entire life to join his wife. Employees and customers soon followed due to the high caliber work environment and business ethic that Linda Sandsness instilled.
