Hotine, who founded her business in June 2013 with a good friend and now partner, have been servicing clients with children's parties that specialize in custom theme parties in the home. Providing great memories, Ms. Hotine and her partner also create unique party favors to along with dress up items if the party specifies.
"We came to the realization that people no longer have great parties at home like when we were growing up, where the children can actually laugh and play together," Ms. Hotine said about the formation of Bubbles and Buttons. "I get so much satisfaction from the kids squealing with delight playing games they have never played before."
As co-owner, Ms. Hotine oversees sales and marketing, helps run the parties, orders products, takes on new clients and orders, answers the phone calls and party questions, and makes sure everything is delivered personally either by her or her partner, unless, of course, the party is out of state. Parties out of state are what they call their "Party in a Box", where all party décor are shipped directly to the client.
Prior to forming her own business, Ms. Hotine worked for 15 years as a personal/executive assistant to several presidents of large companies and as an executive assistant for a VP of operations. Extremely organized, her experience in customer service, management, and as an assistant have certainly paid off. She loves to take on new challenges and enjoys raising the bar when it comes to goal setting. A wife and mother of five, Ms. Hotine hopes to someday open a storefront with a party room where they can sell their customized products and host parties. She would also love to host fundraisers for organizations such as the Boys Scouts and Girl Scouts.
